Mystic Path to Cosmic Power by Vernon Howard
This book identifies the golden thread of pure truth that has run throughout the centuries, in all the great religions and teachings. It then makes the information practical and applicable to daily life. No one can read this book without receiving rewards of clear thinking, focus and access to new pools of energy. Vernon Howard's readership, I understand, is over 8 million people worldwide. After reading this book I clearly can see why. His books are available at www.superwisdom.com -- www.anewlife.org -- and www.amazon.com
Psycho-Pictography by Vernon Howard
This book focuses on the mind's powerful ability to create mental pictures. Vernon Howard traces the science of allegory and parable through the centuries, showing that it is the master technique used by spiritual teachers to convey advanced truths. He gives over a hundred very vivid parables in this book, then expands on the parable to provide many hidden connections. This book is a triumph, in my opinion, of clear and inspiring writing. I've seen Vernon Howard books at www.superwisdom.com -- www.anewlife.org -- www.amazon.com

The Holy Bible (New American) by Author not specified
The Bible is a collection of writings that were written by those who were guided by the Holy Spirit. Nothing they say can be wrong and everything said is worth reading. Plain and simply, The Bible has all the answers to all of life's questions.
Be Merry In God by Thomas More (gathered by Paul Thigpen)
Be Merry In God is a collection of writings taken from many of More's writings. Paul Thigpen has now turned them into prayers and reflections for a 60 day period. More's style is logical and witty. Two things that get a point across. Thomas More is a Catholc martyr and many of these reflections are taken from the books he wrote in prison. This just goes to show that even at one's time of death, they can live life fully. More did that and like Christ in the garden, he went peacefully to the gallows. This book has taught me to live every day and not worry too much about material things and earthly problems like taxes or disease.
Mere Christianty by C.S. Lewis
Plain and simply: tremendous. Lewis is perhaps the greatest convert story of the 20th century. His book has inspired millions because it is logical, witty and straightfoward. Mere Christianity should be a part of everyone's book collection.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
Although I don't agree entirely with all aspects of her philosophy, Ayn Rand's objectivist views have really changed my attitude toward life. She was a revolutionary thinker that has yet to be equaled. I thank her for opening my eyes to objectivism.
