Association des Brochu d'Amérique

The Association des Brochu d'Amérique is a non profit organisation incorporated on 30 November 1989, under section III of the law of the companies. The Association itself was founded on 12 November 1989.

The Association seeks to get in touch with direct descendants or allies of ancestor Jean Brochu and his wife Nicole Saunier in order to both strengthen familiy ties and to honour the memory of our forefathers by spreading the genealogy and the history of the Brochu.

Since its founding, the Association gave itself a family flag as well as a Coat of Arms.

LE FLEURON is a quaterly publication distributed to every paying member here and in France and to some cultural organisations.

On 23 June 1991, a big meeting took place when the Association unveil a monument to the memory of the ancestor and his wife on the ancestral land at St. Jean, on Île d'Orléans.
