The view into the left entrance to the garden leads your eye right to one of the backbone structures of the garden. The Umbrellas, Mushrooms, trellis or whatever you'd like to call them, have Sweet Autumn Clematis climbing to the top. When covered with thousands of the tiny, white clematis flowers in the fall, it is a stunning sight - especially in the moonlight! Constructed of an 8 foot pole and an up-side-down 10 foot satellite dish, the umbrellas have been an interesting conversation piece with visitors.
