spacerWelcome to our daylily display garden located in Hampshire, England. We now have 1400+ cultivars, and in 2004 were granted the RHS accredited National Collection of Spider and Unusual Forms. We love these forms ourselves and now have over 400 in the Collection. We have started a breeding programme over the last couple of years and there is a picture of one of our first seedlings in the album. We hope you like it. We will keep trying.

spacerWe garden on very free draining gravel so most of the daylilies are planted in raised beds in the field behind the house. It means we can give them really good soil to grow well. We have a small specialist nursery which helps to finance my continued obsession. I am thrilled to be one of the gardens cherishing and selling the daylily "Grace and Favour", bred by Eve Lytton, which will be appearing on the front of the Chelsea Flower Show programme. It is so great to see that the RHS chose a daylily as the masthead for this prestigious show.

spacerTerry and I both love wildlife and garden organically as much as possible. We are richly rewarded for this with lots of lovely wild visitors although we could do without the deer, hence the need for rather intrusive fencing. This is one of the disadvantages of living within the New Forest National Park. Otherwise it is wonderful. The colours this year have been fantastic and we hope you got a taste of this in the picture of one of our more welcome visitors, Barley. We are also only 2 miles from Lymington in Hampshire and its well known yacht marina and the sea. All this and the daylilies too! Heaven.
