Daylilies encircle a dwarf plum tree. To the left, at the corner of the building, an old fashioned lilac bush starts a row of lilacs which create a backdrop for the border that separates the front grassy area from the backyard. Out of necessity, a stucco-like material covers the logs on this side of the house to keep out moisture from rain.
