First Star… The older generation will recall the exploits , from the early editions of the atom hockey tournament , of this ex-professional player from the National Hockey League. He led his team, from Asbestos in the Class B , to three consecutive championships from 1971 to 1973. We can affirm without error, that Sean McKenna was the first big star of the Mousquiri AtomTournament (previously known as the Provincial Mosquito Tournament) This spectacular player showed his talents as a scorer, his graceful speed, his shot and play making ability. He dominated the scorers in his last years of the tournament and he continued to dominate in minor hockey ranks. He also continued his success in the Major Junior Hockey ranks with the Montreal Junior Canadians and with the Sherbrooke Beavers.

have participated in through all my years in minor hockey. Many

and I have heard them talk about the tournament and continue to do
so.
