JSynthLib Home Page : JSynthLib is a freeware editor librarian written in Java. It supports the Yamaha TX81Z and TG33, Kawai K4 and K5000, Oberheim Matrix and more. The good thing about it is that the Java sources are available and there is instruction on how to build your own driver for supporting other synth model. I was able to add support for Nova 1 and Korg ER1. Those synths are availlable in the version 0.15 of JSynthLib. I have put the factory patches for those synths {here}.
ScAleIt : A good freeware to help with music chord/scale. Type some notes on the little piano and it will find the possible chord or scale.
Freequency : This freeware is very useful for delay time calculation (good for setting your multi delay FX correctly). Choose a BPM and it will give you some possible delay time value to try.
