The Greatest Journalist: Annie DuriezBy Mélanie B. and Émilie D.Today, we had a visitor her name is Annie Duriez. She is a journalist for the Stanstead Journal, a weekly newspaper. She recommends this job but if you want a lot of money don't chose to work for a little newspaper. She went to the Bishop's University at Lennoxville. She began to work for this newspaper 2 and a half years ago but after for 3 months probation her boss Ross Murray hired her. There are 6 people who work together for this paper. When she was a kid her dream was to be a veterinarian or an actress but now she is a great journalist who works very hard all day. What she likes the most in her job is to meet people and speak with them. The most difficult in her job is to speak with the people who don't want to speak with her and to be careful when she writes an article. The newspaper, the Stanstead Journal was founded in 1845. She doesn't have a B.A. in journalism but she is able to write and to speak with people! She thinks it's a difficult job when you do your article at the last moment. It's important to have a lot of good information on a little bit of everything.
Annie has two little girls, Catherine, her 10 years old daughter and Rachelle, her 2 and a half year old daughter. Catherine goes to the French school because Annie never had the chance to go to French school.
