Santa's Wayby Virginie S. and Vanessa A.It was Christmas night. The reindeer were excited especially Rudolph, because he would drive the sleigh that night. The elves were packing the gifts and they were so proud of their work. Mrs. Santa had prepared some Christmas cookies for Santa. Santa Claus was very happy because that night he was the hero. After a really big hug for his wife he began the rounds.
He had finished giving half of the presents. It was time to go deliver the gifts to the people in the forest. When he was flying in the sky to another house in the woods he stopped and looked at his map of the world. The wind rose suddenly and the map flew away. Santa Claus ran after it. He yelled, "Come back! You can't do that to me!" It was too late. The map was gone. Santa Claus was LOST!!!
Santa was very panicky. He asked himself, "How can I give the other presents to the people?" He walked and walked and walked. Finally Santa Claus found a lovely small house. Santa knocked. Two teen boys answered the door. "I'm Santa Claus. Can you help me?" asked the poor man. One of the boys answered, "Santa Claus! My eye! You're a liar!" "I don't believe in Santa Claus! I'm not a baby! So, prove it," replied the other boy. Santa Claus was offended. He responded, "I know about you guys. You are Joe and you Bob. I remember, Joe at five years old you wanted a teddy bear and Bob, you wanted a truck."
The two boys had enormous eyes and their mouths dropped open. "You are the true Santa Claus!" exclaimed Bob. "I'm sorry to have doubted you!" said Joe. "We will help you!!!" promised the two boys together. Santa said, "Okay. I'm lost and I need a map." "We have two maps of the region," answered Bob. Santa Claus replied, "It's fine but I need a map of the whole world." "I think we have one," said Joe. One minute later Joe gave him a huge map of the whole world. Santa exclaimed, "You have one! Thank you very much! I have a surprise for you." "What?" asked Bob. After that Santa Claus gave two immense gifts to Bob and Joe. They were so happy that they kissed Santa. Joe yelled, "I will always believe in you!"
Then Santa Claus went back to the sleigh and flew away. The two boys looked out the window and heard, "Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas everybody!"
