Snow Campby Vanessa A and Virginie SIt was January 11th and every body in Violet's class was excited. Our stuff in an immense bag we were ready to have the best end of the week!! We were going to Quebec Lodge.
When we arrived at the snow camp we met our staff Chris, Lena, Bill, Andrew and Bryan. We went to put our baggage in our bedrooms. After that all the girls went cross-country skiing and the boys played broomball. Then we could slide(tobogganing), snow shoe and play hockey. Everybody did the activities as well as they could. We ate delectable hotdogs. Next we did cross-country skiing, sliding and bracelets. After an activity we had a free period. We could play ping-pong, talk, listen to music, play music, eat candy and play society games. After that we did a big snow war. We could throw snow balls and tag the enemies. We had to steal the flag of the other team. It was girls VS boys. The two teams won because all were good. Then we ate lasagna. We had another free time . We went skating and everybody had fun. After that we returned to the chalet and played what we wanted to do. Someone began to go to sleep at eight o'clock. At eleven everybody was in their bedrooms talking or sleeping.
The next day we woke to prepare our stuff to go to Montjoye. We had an excellent breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast and cereal. We went to Montjoye and put on our skis and snowboards. Some people took lessons to learn how to ski and snowboard. The others were going in the mountains and had their lesson in the afternoon. At noon we ate sandwiches. Next we skied all afternoon. At four o'clock tired and hungry we returned to Quebec Lodge to eat drumsticks. After this delicious supper sadly we began to pack our things. We had time to play and thank the staff. The snow camp was FINISHED!!!
