Illusions, by Richard Bach

- All I can say is, If you have not read Illusions, You are missing out on more enlightenment than you can Imagine. This book has changed more peoples lives than any other book I have ever heard of. (excluding the BIBLE of course). Richard Bachs writing has a strong effect on the soul. All his books after Illusions have a magic about them as well. Illusions is a book that once you read it, you'll find yourself returning to it again and again. And as many of us have found, It makes a truly wonderful gift.

- First book that really offered me the opportunity to look at my spiritual beliefs.  I was surprised to find that I had choices!

- plain awesome, one of the most imaginative, and thought inspiring easy reading books there is. an excellent way to prepare your mind for Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, which is a much more difficult read.

- I have given this book to more people and seen that it serves as a catalyst for people to find themselves on their spiritual path.  Because it is simple to read and has an interesting story, it reaches many people easily.

- "What if somebody came along who could teach me how my world works and how to control it?  What if I could meet a super-advanced...what if a Siddhartha or a Jesus came into our time, with power over the illusions of the world because he knew the reality behind them?  And what if I could meet him in person...?"  The book will mean different things to different people...an entertaining story of miracles on the flickering screen of this world...a startling book about reality and the appearance of reality...a look at the way many of us could live, and the way some of us do.  It is a book to challenge and perhaps change your life.

- It's a great intro to Metaphysics. Allows the reader to see everything metaphysically, simply, and yet on a grand scale.  Plus it's so easy to read, grasp and it's deep.

- "Illusions", by Richard Bach, encapsulates virtually my entire self-determined philosophical, spiritual and and moral view of life.  Some things I had already ascertained it confirmed, or put into better words, some things it clarified and solidified for me.  A few concepts it exposed me to that I did not initially absorb or accept, but they inspired me to meditate and mentally masticate on them, and I have a growing appreciation for their wisdom and sense.  For those who are ready for what it has to reveal, it is a life-changer.  For those not quite that ready, it is a pleasant and thought-provoking story.

- Itīs about Your own freedom.

- Vague spiritual concepts, precepts, perceptions and ideas suddenly coalesced when I read the "Messiah's Handbook" contained within "Illusions."  I have not been the same person since.

- The best primer for getting me to take responsibility for my spiritual journey, including the power part! Thanks Richard Bach!

- Amazing book.  I use it almost as a Bible or I Ching.  Open the pages and you will have your answer.  It is Jonathon Livingston all over again.

- THE book that opened my mind to an entirely different way of thinking, of seeing the world. THE book that helped me understand what happiness is. THE book that changed my life.

- Great book, wish I had written it.

- It changed my point of view 180 degrees and opened for me the horizons I have never dreamed of. It showed me that I'm my own master and the world around is just like the way I see it and what I see in it. And I can change it any moment I like...

- A lot of things to think about

- I read it for the first time this last summer and i felt enlightened!

- Richard Bach is amazing. These are philosophies I decided on only months before coming across this book. I love it. I've bought all my close friends copies. I think it is truely the best book ever written.
